Find answers, bring your own documents, and see how the AI got there, all in chat.

Searching contracts used to mean knowing the exact filter, field, or folder. Now you can simply ask. This release brought three major upgrades to the AI chat experience.

Agentic Repository Search

Ask questions in plain English like "Show me all MSAs with auto-renewal in the next 90 days," and Docsum combines semantic search, field filtering, view querying, and aggregations to answer. It keeps context across turns, so you can refine and drill down without starting over.

Chat Attachments

Upload files directly into a conversation and ask questions about them on the spot. There's no need to add them to your repository first, and you get real-time processing status plus full recovery if you refresh mid-upload.

Transparent AI Reasoning

Responses now support reasoning tokens, giving you deeper analysis and a clearer view into how Docsum reached its conclusions, so you can trust and verify the output.

📊 Contract Intelligence Dashboard: See Your Risk Exposure

New visibility into termination and renewal risk.

New dashboard metrics surface contract risk exposure at a portfolio level, including Vendor Spend on contracts with Termination for Convenience (TfC) rights and Customer ARR Subject to TfC, with a dedicated view of revenue exposed to TfC. It's an at-a-glance read on where your agreements leave you exposed.

📈 Webhooks

Pipe your post-signed contract data to any destination

The platform now emits webhook events when document extraction completes, so you can trigger your own downstream workflows, with full schema definitions to build against. Integrate this data with Zapier, Salesforce, Ironclad, and any downstream application where you want to sync Docsum repository data into.

Also in this release:

• Document signing status. Docsum automatically detects whether documents are signed, partially signed, or unsigned during ingestion. Filter your document table by status and see it in the details panel.

• Bulk update field values. Update info field values across many documents at once, instead of one by one.

• Renewal Opt-Out Date. A new standard computed field, available across all accounts, surfaces the deadline to opt out of a renewal.
