Table of Contents
Dashboard
A centralized space where legal, finance, and operations teams can see key contract metrics and analytics at a glance. Standard charts and visualizations surface actionable insights on contract status, trends, and performance—helping users quickly understand active vs. expired agreements and make data‑driven decisions.

Active Status & Entity Type
Contracts are now automatically tagged by Entity Type (Customer or Vendor) and Status (Active, Inactive, or Unknown) based on Agreement Date, Expiration Date, and Auto‑Renewal settings. A new filter in every view lets you instantly slice your data by status or by counterparty type.

Duplicate Detection
Docsum now detects duplicates by comparing file contents—not just filenames—and flags them for review. You can easily see which uploads match existing documents and clear duplicates to keep your repository clean.

Share View
Send any table view to colleagues (even those without Docsum accounts) via email with a one‑click “Share” action. Recipients receive a CSV attachment of exactly what you see onscreen—no extra steps required.

Document Preview & Citations (Beta)
Preview PDFs inline from the document list and click through to see exactly where extracted data came from in the original text. The full Citations feature is “on deck” for an upcoming release.

Select Document Type on Upload
Assign a document type (e.g., MSA, DPA, Order Form) during file upload instead of waiting for AI to guess. Ideal for mixed‑type files or when you need precise control over categorization.
Improvements
Single Document View Title
The header now shows the true document title (editable in‑place), replacing the auto‑generated record name.
Custom Field Scoping
When editing custom fields, choose to apply them to one document, selected documents, or your entire library—all from the “Fields” panel in Configure.
Weekly Email Updates
Your weekly summary email now includes every updated term from the new Dashboard: agreement dates, opt‑out windows, renewal deadlines, days remaining, and auto‑renewal status.
Archived Documents Export
Navigate to “Archived Documents,” click any record, and export or preview it just like active files—complete with an “Archived” banner for clarity.
Enhanced Date Filters
Filter by expiration (or other dates) using relative options (“before today,” “yesterday”) or set any specific calendar date
Robust File‑Type Validation
Uploads without extensions are now correctly processed: our validation checks the file’s contents to confirm valid PDF, PNG, or DOCX formats and rejects truly invalid files.
